Knowledge Cotton Apparel

Most of the clothes we wear contain some pretty toxic additives. Conventionally grown cotton uses more insecticides than any other single crop, having a signification impact on our environment and eco system. Clothes are a human necessity. We all need it. But how often do you stop to think about the clothes you are wearing and the impact they have on the environment?

Knowledge Cotton Apparel have been in the textile industry since 1969, and have seen the inside of an industry that is responsible for an enormous human impact on the environment. They know that to make real change, serious action is needed.

Knowledge Cotton Apparel creates sustainable menswear that makes a difference. Fashion is not just about looking good. It’s also about doing what is right and feeling good about it – in respect of people and the environment.

Motived by their heritage:

When Jørgen Mørup founded Knowledge Cotton Apparel in the 1960s, he had a curious interest for using natural and pure resources. And when it became possible to use organic cotton in the 1980s, Jørgen Mørup immediately started using it in his business.

Knowledge Cotton Apparel have a love for classics and redesign them to give them a contemporary feel. For KCA it is important to never comprise on style, comfort and quality and about doing what is right and feeling good about it – in respect of people and the environment.. But at the same time, the clothing they make takes a stand and represents something larger than fashion. To Knowledge Cotton Apparel each piece of clothing is part of something bigger than fashion.
